Opayasom

This year 2016 has so far not been a good year, but I just feel that life must still go on. Yea, it has to go on, whether something bad has been due to my doing, or omission to do whatever is necessary.
As a man, I realise I have to take action and responsibility. And I also have to learn to let others take responsibility for their own actions and words.

This year's CNY has barely passed, and my father - Tan Kak Cher - collapsed in the toilet on the 15 Feb 2016 (the day after Valentine's Day). About 7.30pm. It has barely been a week past the funeral and after all that has been done, I realised the fragility of life and all the relationships in it.

Relationships is a very complex subject altogether. Speaking of wrongs and grievances, life cannot get better without forgiveness. And children lead the lives set up by their parents. When parents quarrel, children will be torn between 2 parents. To be frank, I am not spared from this pain. During my father's lsat few years, I had been trying to make him feel as part of the family as possible, despite how distant he had placed himself from the rest of us.

Someday, I will probably in the same boat as he. I might be walking in his step. I don't know.
Now my mum is probably in her room crying her throat sore and I am regretting I also can't do anything about it. Neglect.... I cannot let it happen to her as it happened to my late father.
